Brothers,

This year is already shaping up to be a very busy and productive one.

We have already conducted two EA degrees and two FC degrees.  We also have an EA degree scheduled for this month and a FC and MM degree next month.  Beyond that we will likely have another petition very soon.

We have had a very steady group of brothers at the Lodge nearly every Tuesday, and I appreciate that, but with all that we have going on now, I would ask those of you that have attended regularly in the past to stop by and give us another chance.  Things have changed greatly in the last few years and I think you’ll be pleased with what you see.

Many of us in the chairs are first timers so we are extremely forgiving of those who show up and are slow with the signs.  We will soon be conducting the first MM degree for many of us and we really need additional participants.  We will all try to do it without books, but would be understanding and appreciative if you showed up even if you needed to hold the book in front of your eyes for the entire degree.

Our kitchen is back in shape and the wood floor in the hall looks like new… or at least considerably better than it has in years.  We have one more small room that needs attention, but as it may very well hold a pool table, it may come together quickly.

I encourage all of you with internet access to go to our homepage periodically to keep up with the activities we have planned.  To get there, just type this into your favorite web browser.

So, thank you very much to all of you who have helped this Lodge turn around.  Thank you to all those who have helped put on all the degrees already this year.  Thank you to all those who have helped put the kitchen back together.  Thank you to those who made the hall floor attractive again.  Thank you, thank you and thank you.  We can’t do it without great brothers and you are all truly great brothers.  I am privileged to be your Worshipful Master.

So, those of you reading this missive that haven’t been down in a while, please stop by and say hi.  We would love to see those that we haven’t seen lately, and meet those of you we’ve never seen.

Fraternally,

Brian J. Tingley, Worshipful Master
Milford Lodge #165
